The Head of Operations that was always so much more than that, Laila was often referred to as the heart of the law firm, and for good reason.
The star pupil turned blazing star employee, she has worked her way into becoming the centre of the engine that keeps the group punching above its weight.
No Law degree, but more capable than most lawyers.
From her efforts leading inquiries, managing teams, to memorising case details for every eventuality, and being forever available whenever she is needed, at the drop of a hat no less, she epitomised the team motto of “Expand Beyond Limits”.
10/10 is a score that became somewhat meaningless when referring to the early to arrive, late to leave, model aws-er, and the shoes she leaves behind will be at least 5 sizes too big for any one person to fill, and that’s being optimistic. She’s displayed discipline, work ethics, and problem solving skills like none other, whilst also being able to have fun. She’s set a tone for this company, and her presence definitely made everyone feel secured and safe, as we knew, if challenges arose, she’d be able to help take care of it.
Her dedication to work is unparalleled, she was seen once working on her laptop, while driving.
She will be missed not only by her friends and colleagues here, but the many, many clients who had nothing but praise for her and would often seek her out when visiting, even if it was just to say hello.
Will she achieve success in whatever she chooses to do next? The question is rhetorical, but whether she is near or far, she will always have a place here and we wish her the best in the many adventures ahead, tinged with the slightest bit of envy at the luck of those that will have her working amongst them in the future.

Hey Laila, Start by saying that i knew this would happen eventually but i didnt believe it, i still dont lmao. Youve been here from the start, and its been really fun, from the lunches to the office tea, gilgil and shit. To the go kartin, laser tag, and w man. Its been a good couple years. Also youve set an example for discipline and work ethics, but also kept it fun. it really is amazing how you do it, and what i aspire to reach.
